Lanes Affected: (Northbound) , Shoulder
Comments: Work continues, weather permitting, on the Siskiyou Rest Area Welcome Center. Expect trucks entering and exiting the work site from Crowson Rd. No traffic impact is expected this week. All work will be during the week, during daylight hours. This part of the project is building a gated access road for the facility staff. A second phase for the buildings and Welcome Center will bid later this year.

Details: I-5 MP 14.96 NB (Ashland) Effective April 3, 2017, this section of I-5 northbound will be restricted to 15 feet 00 in. in width between the hours of 7 PM & 7 AM. Mobile homes with eaves are allowed, provided the base width does not exceed 15 feet 00 in. in width. Loads wider than 15 feet 00 in. in width may be accommodated on a case-by-case basis. Comments: Expect intermittent fast lane closures, NB and SB, for installation of Cable Barriers. Watch for signs, construction workers, and use caution. All lanes are open for the holiday weekend. This is part of a project to install cable barriers in the median on I-5 from MP 153-30. This project is scheduled for completion in January of 2018.

I-5 MP 118 to 120

Lanes Affected: (Northbound) 2 Lanes
Comments: Expect road construction at Exits 119 and 120 I-5 interchanges, and the Hwy 42 overpass at Exit 119. Flaggers as needed on the ramps as needed. Ramps Affected. All lanes will be open during the Memorial Day Holiday weekend. Watch for intermittent NB lane closures on I-5. This project will install a traffic signal at the intersection of Old Hwy 99 and the SB I-5 ramps at Exit 120, as part of an interchange improvement project. It will also include adding a NB auxiliary lane between both I-5 interchanges, and an additional WB lane on Hwy 42 over I-5 at Exit 119. This project is scheduled through September, 2017. On Old Hwy 99 expect lane closures near the SB I-5 ramps at Exit 120, with flaggers as needed.

Comments: Hwy 42 traffic is limited to one lane each direction, watch for traffic control devices. Watch for traffic control changes. This project will replace the Gray Creek culvert, which crosses under Hwy 42 and Norway Rd. Norway Rd is closed to through traffic at Gray Creek.

Comments: All lanes on Hwy 62 are open between 6 AM to 7 PM, Mon-Thur, and 6 AM to 10 PM, Fri-Sun. Always use caution, watch for lane closures, and signs. North/Middle: Daytime, watch for truck traffic in the Vilas / Hwy 62 intersection. Watch for center median barrels near E Gregory and Corey Rds, being installed for temporary striping in the center median. South: Expect EB congestion in the afternoons and evenings, due to less storage for turning traffic onto NB Delta Waters. Agate Road at Hwy 62 is permanently closed. During the day, workers and equipment will be working off the roadway. Use caution, and watch for workers throughout the project.
