Hall Boulevard overpass closes to traffic for nine months starting March 4. The Hall Boulevard overpass over OR 217 near OR 99W and Pfaffle Street in Tigard will close for approximately nine months starting March 4. The intersection of Pfaffle Street and Hall Boulevard will also close. Drivers will not be permitted to turn onto Hall Boulevard from Pfaffle Street or turn onto Pfaffle Street from Hall Boulevard. All vehicle traffic should use the signed detour. People walking and bicycling will still be able to cross OR 217 via a temporary pedestrian bridge. For drivers: Follow the signed detour using OR 99W to Greenburg Road to Hall Boulevard (and vice versa). For pedestrians and cyclists: People walking, rolling and bicycling will have access across OR 217. Use a designated path on the overpass until a temporary bicycle and pedestrian bridge is installed by March 15. The temporary bridge will span the highway, running from Hall Boulevard on the south end to Pfaffle Street on the north end. For transit users: Trimet lines 43 and 78 will be rerouted using Locust Street, Greenburg Road and OR 99W. There will not be Trimet service on Hall Boulevard between Locust Street and OR 99W. Local access: Local traffic will have access to Pfaffle Street between OR 99W and Hall Boulevard. Daytime auxiliary lane closures on OR 217 north 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Hall Boulevard to Greenbourg Road. Ongoing closures: The southbound Hall Boulevard on-ramp is closed until the end of March. One lane of westbound Hall Boulevard is closed around-the-clock for several months between Scholls Ferry Road and Cascade Avenue. One westbound lane is closed on the Allen Boulevard overpass and the Denney Road overpass.
