• Adams from W 6^th Ave to W 5th Ave parking is closed on the west side of Adams St and from the W 5th Ally north on the east side of Adams St.
• W 5th Alley is closed from Monroe St to Adam St.
• Pedestrian traffic on the east side of Adams St is closed at the W 5th Alley and on the south side of W 5th Ave from Adams to midblock heading towards Monroe St.
• Pedestrians traveling west on the south side of W 5th St are to detour to the northside of W 5th Ave at Monroe St. Mid bock closures exist on the south sidewalk on W 5th Ave.
• Eastbound bike lane on W 5th Ave is closed between Adams St just past the construction site. Bicyclists are encouraged to detour north on Adams St to W 4th Ave travel east to Monroe St then south to W 5th Ave to avoid construction activities.

For the week of 9/21/26, Pacific Excavation construction crews will be onsite with the railroad contractor replacing the railroad crossing on Prairie at Hwy 99. Pacific Excavation will also be reconstructing the eastern portion of the intersection leading up to the crossing. Prairie Road will be closed to all traffic from Hwy 99 to Maxwell Rd. The closure is anticipated to last approximately 4 weeks. Currently, Prairie Rd is single lane in each direction from Hwy 99 to Maxwell Rd. Please continue to watch for cones and signage as needed.

Prairie Rd will be CLOSED from Hwy 99 to Maxwell Rd from August 17th to approximately October 5th, 2026.

Monday 9/21/2026 through Friday 9/25/2026

• Installation of new storm, wastewater, electrical service connections, and surface improvements will affect portions of E 17th Ave, east of Agate St to Columbia St. E 17th Ave to Moss Ave, and portions of Columbia St and Columbia Alley through the summer of 2027.
• Detours for vehicular traffic will be set at Agate St, E 17th Ave, Columbia St, Moss St, and E 19th Ave as work progresses.
• Pedestrian access will also be impacted and detoured on all affected streets during construction.
• Bike lanes will be closed and merged with shared use in traffic lanes on Agate St to the west and Moss St to the east.
• Please be aware of large trucks and equipment in the area while construction continues.

For the week of 9/21/26 construction crews are moving back to night work, 7pm to 6am.

Construction crews will be on the south side of Broadway at Patterson. Sunday night they will excavate the western half of Patterson at Broadway. Monday morning they will pour the first half of the concrete raised crosswalk toward the east side of Patterson.

Patterson is CLOSED TO TRUCKS , BUSES, AND OTHER LARGE VEHICLES at Broadway. Large vehicles will need to detour at Alder St. This closure will last at least two weeks.

The lane configuration will remain the same with the right lane closed. The lane closure will move east to start at Ferry Ln. Vehicles need to use the zipper method to merge. Single lane from Ferry Ln to Patterson St.

To complete the work and work safely, crews will be utilizing the center lane of east bound traffic. The traveling public will reduce to a single lane through this section of road.

Final paving is scheduled for Monday the 21st. Once paving is completed the McLean road closure and detours will be removed. For the remainder of the week crews will be working on utility adjustments in the roadway and concrete sidewalk and ramp repairs. During this work there will be flaggers present.

Until the closure is opened on Monday, two traffic detours will be in place during the utility adjustments. The first detour will reroute through traffic approaching from before Graham Drive to Lasater → Randy → 29th, returning to McKendrick Street and McLean Boulevard, and vice versa. The second detour will route Graham Drive traffic to Chambers Street via 28th Street.

This project will upgrade existing stormwater facilities by replacing concrete splash pads along Old Coburg Rd and will add new improvements in the form of stormwater planters. Concrete mow pads will also be installed in planters to improve ease of maintenance.

Crews have finished clean-up work and will now be waiting to return in the fall for planting/seeding.

For the week of September 20th, crews will be installing a ramp and Santa Clara Ave & River Road intersection and installing the bus stops North of Santa Clara on River Road. Pedestrian detours will be in place at all closures to ensure safe crossings. 

Lane Closures on River Road are anticipated to be removed Friday the 18th pending concrete cure results. The road closures may stay up for a portion of the week of the 20th if the concrete needs more time to cure.

For the week of 9/21/26 – Crews will be working on Spring Creek Dr between River Rd and Awbrey Park Elementary School.

Crews have finished constructing all elements of the project and will now be returning to do any corrective or clean-up work.

For the week of Sept 21st, the excavation work will continue on Crow Rd for the wastewater manhole and main pipelines. The work has started at the intersection of Crow Rd and Hwy 126 (W 11th). The crews will work west on Crow Rd. The pipe mainline is close to 30 ft deep with bedrock material causing the progress to feel slower to the traveling public. We appreciate your patience and understanding. Due to the complexity of the work, Crow Rd will be closed east of La Porte to Hwy 126. Access to La Porte remains open but must be accessed via Greenhill Rd.

For the week of 9/21/26 – Construction crews will be working at E 4th Ave between High and Mill St, W 7th Alley east of Van Buren St, W 6th Alley on the west side of Blair Blvd, and on E 24th Ave between Willamette St and Amazon Parkway.

Sidewalk access will be closed on the north side of E 4th Ave between High St and Mill St on 9/21. On Van Buren St between W 7th Ave and W 8th Ave, a lane shift will occur at W 7th Alley on 9/22. There will also be a lane shift on E 23rd Ave between Willamette St and Amazon Parkway on 9/24. Access will be closed to W 6th Alley between Van Buren St and Blair Blvd on 9/23.

South Garden Way – Monday 9/21/2026 through Friday 9/25/2026

• Median, driveway and walk removal and re-installation will affect traffic on South Garden Way from north of Kinsrow Ave to Commons Drive.
• Southbound lane to be closed . Flaggers will be detouring all traffic into the northbound lane while work is being done.
• Pedestrian access will also be impacted and detoured to the east walk on South Garden way
• The southbound Bike Lane will be closed. Bikes are to merge with all southbound traffic past the construction area.
• Northbound Bike Lane to remain open.

This route is STRONGLY NOT ADVISED for use as an I-5 bypass when Interstate 5 is closed. Road is a steep, winding, narrow, gravel road with limited turnaround areas and limited cell phone coverage.

East Langell Valley Road will be reduced to one lane, then fully closed at the construction site as crews remove and replace the East Langell Valley Road over the Lost River bridge near Bunn Way.

Lane County will be reconstructing the parking lots for North Jetty Park and the Dive Park along N. Jetty Rd.

Construction work is expected to be completed by end of October 2026. 

Lane County will be replacing culvert on Big Creek Rd at M.P. 10.94. The road will be CLOSED from M.P. 12.434 to M.P. 8.933, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Construction work is expected to be completed by December 31, 2026.

and end on Monday, November 30th, 2026 at 5:00 pm.

Because the bridge is being replaced this will be a hard closure. Local and emergency vehicles, as well as through traffic, will be required to use the approved detour.
