South Willamette Street (23rd Ave. to 29th Ave.):

Due to current hazardous weather conditions, the contractor does not plan to be onsite. If conditions clear to a safe work level the contractor, sub-contractor’s, and CenturyLink’s sub-contractor will be working on the east side of Willamette Street at 29th Avenue and working north to 27th Avenue for new sidewalk, curb and gutter, and street lights. Both lanes of traffic will be shifted along the east side of Willamette Street. Work will also continue constructing new driveways and the new storm treatment vegetative planters behind the curb down 26th Avenue, 25th Avenue, and 24th Avenue. Access to businesses will be available, look for blue cones and blue “Business Access” signs denoting where to enter/ exit. Please follow construction signing and cones for all modes of transportation to ensure everyone’s safety.

13th Avenue (Lincoln St. to Alder St.):

Due to current hazardous weather conditions, the contractor does not plan to be onsite. If conditions clear to a safe work level the contractor and sub-contractors will be working on completing the electrical wiring, getting the new traffic signals operational and general clean-up of the project. Continue to use the temporary traffic signals until permanent signals are operational. Cyclists are detoured off 13th Avenue to 12th Avenue or cyclists can also detour onto 14th Avenue between Patterson Street and Alder Street. The Temporary protected two-way bicycle lane on Hilyard Street has been removed. Cyclists shall detour on Ferry Street which allows north bound and south bound traffic, Patterson Street for south bound, or Hilyard Street for north bound between 12th Avenue and 14th Avenue. The cycle track is not ready for users and is closed for the entire length.
