Hammer Creek Bridge on Williams Road will be closed for emergency repair work, lasting approximately a month or more. Additional signage will be posted in the area. Please plan ahead and allow additional time for travel.

Dodge Island Road will be closed from the intersection of Old River Road to the Dodge Island bridge starting June 22, 2026 through January 2027 for the replacement of the bridge. Closure dates and times are subject to change based on weather and site conditions.

Week of August 31^st, crews will be sawcutting sections of Crow Rd in preparation to start construction of a wastewater manhole and mainline pipes. The excavation work will start on Wednesday. The work will start at the intersection of Crow Rd and Hwy 126 (W 11^th). The crews will work west on Crow Rd. The pipe mainline is close to 30 ft deep, so the work is dangerous and slower than normal. We appreciate your patience and understanding. Due to the complexity of the work, Crow Rd will be closed east of La Porte to Hwy 126. Access to La Porte remains open but must be accessed via Greenhill Rd.

Wednesday, September 2, 7:00am-3:00pm. Crack seal. Traffic control includes temporary signage and flaggers. Expect 5-minute delays.

• Installation of new storm, wastewater, electrical service connections, and surface improvements will affect portions of E 17th Ave, east of Agate St to Columbia St. E 17th Ave to Moss Ave, and portions of Columbia St and Columbia Alley through the summer of 2027.
• Detours for vehicular traffic will be set at Agate St, E 17th Ave, Columbia St, Moss St, and E 19th Ave as work progresses.
• Pedestrian access will also be impacted and detoured on all affected streets during construction.
• Bike lanes will be closed and merged with shared use in traffic lanes on Agate St to the west and Moss St to the east.

• Portland St from W 30th Ave to W 29th Pl west side on street parking and portions of parking north of W 29th Pl to W 28th Ave are closed for the duration of the project construction.
• Pedestrian traffic on the west side of Portland St from W 30th Ave to W 29th Pl is closed. West side pedestrians heading north on Portland St can cross at the NW corner of W 30th Ave and Portland St to the east temporary ADA ramp and sidewalk.
• Pedestrians on W 30th Ave west of Portland St are encouraged to use the Temporary Pedestrian channelization on the north side of W 30th Ave to access Portland St.

• Adams from W 6^th Ave to W 5th Ave parking is closed on the west side of Adams St and from the W 5th Ally north on the east side of Adams St.
• W 5th Alley is closed from Monroe St to Adam St.
• Pedestrian traffic on the east side of Adams St is closed at the W 5th Alley and on the south side of W 5th Ave from Adams to midblock heading towards Monroe St.
• Pedestrians traveling west on the south side of W 5th St are to detour to the northside of W 5th Ave at Monroe St. Mid bock closures exist on the south sidewalk on W 5th Ave.
• Eastbound bike lane on W 5th Ave is closed between Adams St just past the construction site. Bicyclists are encouraged to detour north on Adams St to W 4th Ave travel east to Monroe St then south to W 5th Ave to avoid construction activities.

Due to the high traffic volumes on River Road, most construction activities will occur between 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM. No lane closures will occur outside of this nighttime work window.

For the week of August 31^st, crews will be working on construction of new pedestrian ramps at Santa Clara Ave & River Road and Division Ave & River Road. Pedestrian detours will be in place at all closures to ensure safe crossings. Crews will also be working on the bus lanes near Santa Clara Ave. During this time, a single lane of traffic will be closed north of Santa Clara Avenue during the day while the curb and gutter cure. Traffic will remain open in both directions using a single lane. No additional work requiring lane closures is expected outside of this nighttime work window.

For the week of August 31st, crews may be on site to finish installing the electrical and lighting. When this work is finished the project will be largely completed.

This project will upgrade existing stormwater facilities by replacing concrete splash pads along Old Coburg Rd and will add new improvements in the form of stormwater planters. Concrete mow pads will also be installed in planters to improve ease of maintenance.

For the week of 8/31/26 – No crews will be working on site

Crews have finished most clean-up work and will now be waiting to return in the fall for any remaining clean up and planting/seeding.

On Saturday, August 29th, the contractor is scheduled to finish paving the east half of the roadway. On Tuesday and Wednesday, September 1st and 2nd, the contractor will be adjusting manholes in the roadway. Once this work is complete, the contractor will remove the detours.

The two current detours will be in effect during paving. The first will reroute approaching through traffic before Graham Dr to Lasater → Randy → 29th, returning to McKendrick St and McLean Blvd, and vice versa. The second will detour Graham Dr to Chambers St via 28th St.

For the week of 8/31/26, construction crews will be onsite with the railroad contractor replacing the railroad crossing on Prairie at Hwy 99. Prairie Road will be closed to all traffic from Hwy 99 to Maxwell Rd. The closure is anticipated to last approximately 4 weeks. Currently, Prairie Rd is single lane in each direction from Hwy 99 to Maxwell Rd.

Prairie Rd will be CLOSED from Hwy 99 to Maxwell Rd from August 17th to approximately September 18^th, 2026.

Detour routes include Irving Rd, Beltline, and or Chambers Rd.

For the week of 8/31/26, construction crews will be on the south side of Broadway from Mill to Patterson, crews will be excavating the southernmost lane and pouring the new, widened sidewalk and curb/ gutter.

TIME OF CONSTRUCTION HAS CHANGED FROM NIGHT WORK TO DAY TIME WORK. Crews will be working between 7am and 5pm. The lane configuration will remain the same as the past month. Single lane from Mill St to Patterson St. However, if you are coming from Coburg Rd heading south to east bound; the left lane will be closed on the viaduct between 6^th ave to 8^th Ave.

For the week of 8/31/26 – Crews will be working on Spring Creek Dr between River Rd and Awbrey Park Elementary School.

Crews have finished constructing the new ADA ramp at Awbrey Park Elementary School. Paving has been completed and traffic separators have been installed along the shoulder of the road. Crews will be finishing any minor contract work and may begin any corrective work. You may see lane shifts to direct traffic around work occurring on the shoulder of the road.

For the week of 8/31/26, construction crews will be on Hilyard St from 40^th to 34^th Ave, Friendly St & 18^th area, 24^th Ave from Hilyard to Agate, and Alder from 30^th to 32^nd.

Crews will be wrapping up the project with clean up and minor corrections. You may see small striping corrections, concrete repairs, utility boxes being adjusted, permanent sign installations, and final landscaping. Please give the crews a safe distance. Signs and cones will help direct traffic. We are getting so close!

Youngs River Road is closed to all truck traffic over 26,000 LBS from Miles Crossing to Tucker Creek Lane.

BRIDGE CLOSED

A vehicle collision has caused structural damage to Lampman Bridge over Galls Creek. The bridge is closed until further notice. Residents on the east side of the bridge can have access via Access Road. Residents on the west side only have access from the west side, via Old Stage Rd/Hwy 99 near Del Rio Vineyard.

Be aware of work personnel while traveling in the area. Expect intermittent and ongoing tree and vegetation removal, utility work, drainage work, and fire recovery/restoration in the coming weeks.

East Langell Valley Road will be reduced to one lane, then fully closed at the construction site as crews remove and replace the East Langell Valley Road over the Lost River bridge near Bunn Way.  

This section of road is not a through street. Delivery trucks should not enter, as it will be difficult to turn around.

Lane County will be replacing culvert on Big Creek Rd at M.P. 10.94. The road will be CLOSED from M.P. 12.434 to M.P. 8.933, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Construction work is expected to be completed by December 31, 2026. 

Lane County will be performing construction work on Lorane Highway including paving, striping, guardrail installation and a flashing beacon system installation at the intersection of Lorane Hwy, Bailey Hill Rd and Spencer Creek Rd. Construction work is expected to be completed by September 04, 2026.

Lane County will be reconstructing the parking lots for North Jetty Park and the Dive Park along N. Jetty Rd.

Marion County Road Operations will be closing a portion of Forest Ridge Rd NE while they perform drainage and resurfacing work. The work site will be located in the parabolic curve of Forest Ridge Rd NE, southeast of the Evans Valley LP NE & Forest Ridge Rd NE intersection. The closure is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 24, 2026 at 8:00 am and end on Thursday, September 10th, 2026 at 5:30 pm. The portion of the road within the work zone is going to be significantly disturbed while work is ongoing and will be rendered impassible until work is complete. Local and emergency traffic, like through traffic, will be required to self-detour during the closure.

Mid-Valley Construction is constructing sidewalk ramps from July 1st through September.

North Santiam Paving Co. will be closing a portion of S Drake Rd while they perform paving work on behalf of Clackamas County. The work zone will span between the bridge crossing Butte Creek and the S Drake RD and S Farm Rd intersection. The closure is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 24, 2026 at 7:00 am and will end on Friday, September 11th, 2026 at 5:00 pm. Provision will be made to allow local and emergency traffic through the closure. All through traffic will be required to use the approved detour.

and end on Monday, November 30th, 2026 at 5:00 pm.

Because the bridge is being replaced this will be a hard closure. Local and emergency vehicles, as well as through traffic, will be required to use the approved detour.

Oregon State Bridge, on behalf of Marion County Capital Projects, will be closing the portion of French Prairie Rd NE located south approximately 1,000 ft. of the Mahony Rd NE/Highway 219 NE intersection.The closure is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, August 18th, 2026 as early as 7:00 am

and end on Monday, November 30th, 2026 at 5:00 pm.

North Santiam Paving will resurface Howell Prairie Rd between St Hy 214 and Silverton Rd between July 1, 2026 and September 4, 2026.

House Mountain Rd and Multiclum Rd will remain open through the closure. The closure will begin Monday, May 4th, 2026 at 7:00 am and end on Friday, October 30th, 2026 at 5:00 pm. Emergency services will be allowed through the closure until the road is completely excavated and rendered unsafe or impassible. The road is expected to be completely impassible for a period of approximately three weeks towards the end of the project, likely in October.
