Comments
Road crews are preparing the intersection of Highway 224 and Springwater Road for the addition of a new traffic signal near the Carver Bridge. Work will take place both at night on weekdays from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. and occasionally from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on-and-off through the end of September. The work will involve lane closures and flaggers will help direct traffic through the work zone. The signals are not expected to be installed and active until closer to the end of the year due to reduced availability of aluminum, steel and other metals; the bridge approaches to the Carver Bridge are scheduled to be completed in spring 2019.
