Klamath County Public Works has equipment and staffing for daytime snow removal only (+/-7am to +/-3pm) on weekdays. Overtime shifts can occur on weekends during large storm events.
The upper portion of this route (Spencer Creek to Dead Indian Memorial Drive) may not receive sand for winter maintenance due to the remote location of the route. In addition, this route is plowed by a road grader since it can snow several inches to feet overnight during storms. A regular snow plow with sander cannot remove deep snow or cut pack.
