Monday, 3/31through July 11, 2025. West entrance of Leo Harris Parkway at MLK closed for construction. East entrance is open for access to Autzen Stadium and the Eugene Science Center. Work is expected to continue with closure in effect until July 2025
- Right Lane taper and lane closure in the Bus lane east of the Leo Harris Parkway west entrance
- Expect lane shifts, street closures and traffic delays while work is ongoing.
- Bikes are encouraged to use the Day Island Rd Bike path from the west around the Eugene Science Center and for access to Autzen Stadium, Eugene Science Center as well as full access from the east entrance of Leo Harris Parkway.
- Pedestrian access on the south side of MLK remains open
- Pedestrians are also encouraged to use Pre’s trail from the west and Leo Harris Parkway from the east.
- Please be aware of large trucks and equipment in the area.

Mill Street Reconstruction

Mill Street is restricted to one-way northbound traffic between Main Street and Centennial Boulevard for the Mill Street Reconstruction project. Detours are in place with signs and other markings to direct traffic.

Lane County will be constructing storm sewer facilities, water quality facilities, retaining walls, ADA curb ramps, sidewalks and paving on Gilham Rd between Ayres Rd and Don Juan Ave, starting April 14, 2025. Construction is scheduled to wrap up by December 31, 2025. Detours will be in place and traffic will be controlled by flaggers.
