This project will replace the span wire signal at 18th Avenue and Hilyard Street with a mast arm signalized system. The signal upgrade will include a new bicycle signal for westbound bikers on 18th Avenue as they approach the intersection with Hilyard Street and improvements to signal timing to reduce potential crashes.

Crossing distance for pedestrians at the intersection will also be reduced by installing curb extensions and new ADA compliant curb ramps.

Tuesday, June 2 – Thursday, June 4, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Remove and replace asphalt. Traffic control includes: signs, flaggers, barricades. No delays expected, left east-bound lane will be open. Business owners have been notified.

Construction started the week of April 27 and is scheduled to be completed no later than September 30, 2026.

Local access to homes will be maintained during construction, though temporary lane closures, driveway closures, and no parking zones will occur. You may experience changes to normal travel routes, along with construction noise, dust, and heavy equipment. Advance notice will be provided before any driveway, parking, or lane closures.

Construction is expected to begin the week of June 15, 2026. Most work is anticipated to be completed by September 4, 2026, before the start of school, with the full project scheduled for completion by October 31, 2026.

Lane County will be reconstructing the parking lots for North Jetty Park and the Dive Park along N. Jetty Rd.

Lane County will be replacing culvert on Big Creek Rd at M.P. 10.94. Construction work is expected to be completed by December 31, 2026. 

Starting January 28, 2026, Lane County will be installing signs and guardrails on Row River Rd from M.P. 2.71 to M.P. 19.10. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers, Monday through Friday from 7am to 7pm. Please obey the temporary traffic control signs, use caution and slow down through work zones to improve safety and efficiency. Construction work is expected to be completed by June 30, 2026.

Starting January 28, 2026, Lane County will be installing signs and guardrails on Shoreview Dr from M.P. 0.20 to M.P. 6.50. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers, Monday through Friday from 7am to 7pm. Please obey the temporary traffic control signs, use caution and slow down through work zones to improve safety and efficiency. Construction work is expected to be completed by June 30, 2026.

Starting January 28, 2026, Lane County will be installing signs and guardrails on Crow Rd from M.P. 1.38 to M.P. 8.13. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers, Monday through Friday from 7am to 7pm. The bridge on North Beaver Creek Road at MP 5.6 near Walkau Road is restricted to one-lane traffic only and is weight restricted. Truck traffic is discouraged and over-dimensional loads are prohibited.
