Help and Tips

Here is some useful information to help you get around TripCheckTV.

What are the technical requirements for running TripCheck TV?

TripCheck TV performance is dependent on your computer's capabilities and your Internet connection.

TripCheck TV works best with a newer browser, at a minimum: IE8, Firefox 9, Chrome 15, Safari 5.1, or higher. Update older browsers for best results.

Computers running TripCheck TV should have a minimum of 2 gigabytes of RAM.

You will need a high speed Internet connection. We recommend 5 Mbs or higher.

My display is cut off on the sides or bottom.

If your display appears to be cut off on the sides or bottom your browser may need to be resized or set to full screen (F11). It could also be the case that the resolution on your computer is set to low. You will need to adjust your screen resolution.

How do I adjust my screen resolution?

If you are using Windows go to your desktop. Right-click on the desktop and click Properties. In the Display Properties window click the Settings tab. Find the section labeled Screen resolution. Increase the resolution so that your screen size is set to 1024 by 768 or higher if you are using the Desktop layout. Use a resolution of 1280 by 720 if you are using the other TripCheck TV layouts. Once you've found a good Screen resolution, click OK. Return to TripCheckTV.

My camera images seem to be stacked strangely, what can I do?

If your images appear to be stacked on top of each other try refreshing your browser.

My camera images appear to be stale or outdated.

Try refreshing your browser. If that doesn't work close all browser windows and tabs and restart the browser completely before returning to TripCheckTV.

How many cameras can I have?

You can have up to 20 camera images per display. If you have chosen a display with two camera regions then each region can contain 10 cameras images.

How do I know which routes have which cameras?

You can get familiar with our inventory of cameras at TripCheck.com.

How do I get in or out of Full Screen mode?

Most browsers will use either F11 to enter or exit Full Screen mode. You my also try exiting Full Screen mode by striking the Esc key on your keyboard.
