Snow and gusty winds are also expected in the Cascades and siskiyous and across portions of the east side. Blowing and drifting snow is expected. ... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 10 PM this evening to 10 AM PST Sunday ... The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow ... Which is in effect from 10 PM this evening to 10 AM PST Sunday. * Snow accumulations ... 3 to 7 inches. * Winds Southwest 10 to 20 MPH with gusts to 20 to as high as 40 MPH. * Timing Snow will begin late this evening. Southeast winds and snowfall will peak tonight before diminishing during the morning on Sunday. * Locations include Portions of highway 97 to include Chemult and areas between Klamath Falls and Chiloquin. * Impacts Snow and blowing snow late this evening and overnight will result in accumulating snow on roadways, at times. Snowfall rates and blowing snow will occasionally reduce visibilities to less than one half of a mile.
