Wind Advisory, *NOAA Issue Date: 12/8/2016 05:35:00 AM Wind Advisory remains in effect for the greater Portland and Vancouver metro area until 4 PM PST this afternoon ... A Wind Advisory remains in effect until 4 PM PST this afternoon. * East metro and in the west hills: east winds 30 to 40 MPH with gusts to 55 MPH. * Elsewhere in the metro area: east winds 20 to 25 MPH with gusts 35 to 45 MPH. * Timing: strongest winds likely to be this morning. * Wind chill: mainly in the teens and 20s. * Impacts: tree damage and Power outages have already been reported. The winds may make travel difficult at times ... Particularly on north-south bridges such as the interstate bridge along interstate 5 and the Glenn Jackson bridge along interstate 205. This part of the project is building a gated access road for the facility staff.

Access to Skypark Dr will still be open via Whittle Ave.This is the first phase of Hwy 62 Expressway project. During the day workers and equipment will be working off the roadway. All lanes will be open on Hwy 62 between 6 AM and 7 PM, Mon-Thur, and 6 AM to 10 PM Friday-Sunday. The Medco Haul Rd is closed to all traffic , including bicyclist and pedestrians.
