Comments: Expect daytime lane closures on highway and off ramp with flagger control. Watch for construction activity around interchange. Use caution. Project Summary: The I-5 Kuebler Interchange Project will address the increasing congestion at the interchange by modifying the existing southbound off ramp, which will decrease the conflicts at Kuebler that have caused back-ups on I-5 southbound. The new ramp will meet modern standards and contain excess capacity. The project will also add a westbound to southbound I-5 loop on ramp and modify the eastbound to southbound I-5 on ramp.

Also, turning lane movements into downtown Manzanita will be enhanced. The scheduled work includes stabilizing the soil around the tunnel mining area. Flaggers may need to occasionally control single lane traffic during construction when work is occurring. Minor delays should be expected when single lane closures are occurring and the public is reminded to drive through the area with caution. Oregon State Police will be enforcing the speed limit through the work zone area. The project is scheduled to be completed in October 2016.
